Of late, Microsoft added a new capability to repair that—at least a little act. Cortana now lets you banish news sites you don't like from your prey. Thither are some reports that this is a U.S.-lone feature for now.
Here's how it works.
First, if you'ray not using Cortana to present news heart-to-heart the personal digital assistant on your PC. Succeeding click the notebook icon in the left-hand seafaring panel and so click on News. In the next panel, activate the alternative called News Cards then whatever other news features you'd like to enjoyment.
Now recuperate to Cortana's home screen to opinion your news updates.
Rent out's say the Top Newsworthiness division offers news stories from BobsSuperNews.com, and you're not a devotee of the site. Get through connected the trinity horizontal dots above Cortana's lead news section.
Once you do that, to the right of each news article you'll see a Mute internet site option as pictured here. Click that and Cortana will stop showing you news stories across all categories for that site.
If you mute a site away accident, you'll ensure an option to undo your action about right away. For anyone who regrets their banishments long after the fact, you can "unmute" a site by opening Cortana, clicking the notebook icon again, and selecting News.
Scroll down to the bottom of the News settings panel, and you'll see all your dull sites. Click the site you want to "unmute," and so in the next panel, click the trash icon in the lower word-perfect street corner.
The "unmute" interface is a trifle janky, but at least there's a fallback for those times you regret muting a site.
